Happy 4th of July

Can you believe how fast summer is flying by? It's July already and before you know it school will be starting again! For that I can say I'll be happy! I don't begrudge a teacher their summer of rest but my last two summer's have been going at it alone since the hubby has left both years in a row...I'd rather have more fun as a family than constantly telling

my kids to sleep longer, "stop that", "go to your room", etc! Tonight all that changes since the kids and I are flying up to Germany to stay the weekend with our absent man of the house! It's only for a few days but it's better than nothing! This gives us a little time with him out of the house for some family time. It's amazing how quick this month has flown by with him being gone. After this weekend we have about a week and a half left before he comes home. But he won't get to be too comfortable since he'll just be getting ready to leave again for another two weeks for work related stuff.
I'm working at keeping the kids busy and not in my hair so much too. Sister will be doing an acting workshop and then a golf camp thing. Brother is also doing the golf camp thing but on another week; plus he still has his Tae Kwan Do to keep him occupied. I may even sign them up for a week of bowling camp too LOL Oh the things I find for them to do ;)
