Casa Dolce Casa

Oh how I love being in my own home! I'm so glad that the holidays are over. They weren't too stressful but even still being away for that long from my stuff and comfort zones was enough. It was hard to do Christmas this year without my hubby. I've done it before but this year wasn't great. Now that I'm home we can get back into our routines and pray for May to get here quickly. Come Tuesday morning we start going strong! School for the kids, my Revelation bible study kicking back off, tae kwan do in the afternoon...boom boom boom no rest for the weary! Tomorrow we're taking it easy but not too easy. I have a craft room to clean up since I left it as a pit before I went to the states. I have suitcases to unpack. I have a little bit of laundry to do since I have some dirty things to take care of. I have a kitchen and living room to make decent again.
Tomorrow I officially start back on my semi-liquid diet. I didn't overdo it over the holidays but I know I could have done better. I didn't stay on top of my water drinking like I could have, I didn't stay away from some of the holiday sweets, I didn't make sure to have one of my protein shakes now and again...plus all that eating out at those good yummy restaurants! While I mostly shared entrees or ordered from the kids menu...my goodness the yumminess from that food (and not to mention the calories that might have been in it LOL). I did find that certain lettuces and ruffage won't go over well with my new stomach. So I'm gonna have to watch that from now on and make sure I always have some Bean-o handy ;) My new stomach gets a little more gassy now than it ever did. I was so excited to buy new jeans while I was in the states too! I'm in a size 18! I can't remember the last time I wore that! I did get a couple pairs in the 20s for wiggle room while my 18s are in the mail to me (I had to ship all Christmas presents and shopping buys back to me). I'm even wearing some XL shirts now...not XXL! I didn't buy a lot of new clothes though because really what's the point if I'm steadly gonna go down. I'm so excited to be a healthier new me now!
And in case you didn't see it on FB I got new ink! Oh yeah baby I'm in love with it! One of my friends here has this really nice strap for his guitar with a similar image and it just fit me perfectly! I love my praise and worship time and enjoy singing out to God so this design was perfect for me! It was supposed to be sized around credit card length but it wound up being about 6 inches long top to bottom. As my friend Jessie said...go big or go home! LOL The artist did an amazing job and he was totally great. I couldn't have asked for a better job on my body art.
Well before I end up looking at the clock and it's midnight I need to get my youngin's in bed and working on getting rested and this jet lag under control. My busy Tuesday will be here soon and I don't want to be totally draggin'!
