Cinderella goes to the ball

Last night our base held the annual Air Force ball, which celebrates the birthday of the USAF.  I hadn't planned on going since I didn't have a dress.  I can't just order something formal now since I have been changing sizes.  But my fairy godmother came to the rescue!  A friend of mine here said she thought she might have something that would work.  When she showed me the dress I was totally doubtful...this thing looked so small despite its XL on the tag.  Well no guts no glory!  I tried it on and it fit!  So now I had a dress and had my friends help me get my hubby to buy tickets.
We had a great time.  I even got my hubby to dance with me at least once!  The prosecco flowed and the smiles and laughs were uncountable!  So here's me and my prince for the evening...
