gettin scrappy

See I have this awesome new friend...she sells CTMH (gasp my rival)...anyway she helps keep me going now and then in the craft mojo dept.  I got this fun girly paper from her in the Roxy workshop kit.  I truely despised the LOs they offered in the idea flier to do with this so I got a little more creative.  I grabbed one of her CTMH idea books for LOs and surfed the pages.  After seeing a few things I liked here and there this is what I came up with for these two pagers!  The first pic...the main background was just way too pretty to cut up so I tried to utilize it as best I could and still see it's gorgeousness!  On the rt. side that part with the birds...yeah that flips up.  It's this awesome sleeve she had on hand and kindly said help yourself!  So on the backside I can add hidden journaling and even more pics on the main page too!  So fun...I'm totally ordering some of them!

On this page I love the animal print vibe on this paper.  The opposite side I think was pretty blah.  Plus this cut down on the "girly" feel so if I want I can add boy photos to it.  My fun addition...see that little square in the bottom right tied up?  Yeah that's an accordian book!  Oh yeah so much fun.  Honestly it frustrated the crap out of me at first until I realized it was "creator error" and fixed it.  I cannot wait to add photos to these two pagers!  The other thing that came in the workshop kit was this awesome little chipboard box and tiles!  It's a memory game essentially but can be used for much much more!  My friend plans on using it as a memory game of family members for her little ones.  I am making it a boredom box.  So on those days when someone says "I'm bored" they can draw a square and find something to do on the one they select!  (I'll post when I complete it)  So there's my scrappys from this past weekend.  Now that I'm feeling better and my desk is cleaned off again I can keep my mojo going more!
