
So I got this game for Christmas thinking I'd love to try it but without humiliating myself in front of others LOL This morning I had planned on going to the gym but I was too dang cold in the house to face the cold outside and drive off at that point! After a quick chat with my beloved online this morning I sorted out the laundry and got a load going and thought I'll bust out this game and give it a whirl...then face the cold for my errands!
Let's just say I watched the tutorials and was so off trying to even follow the instructor in slow speed! I thought eh it's just me here with the dog I'm just going to start the first beginner workout and see what happens. It really wasn't that bad. Sure I didn't totally keep up and only had to last about 4 or 5 minutes for the first one but I got 500 something points and "boosted my party"! I did all the beginner dances...anywhere from 3-5 min. each and then did the cool down option on the intermediate level...that was like belly dancing stuff with breathing exercises. For my first try at it I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed it. I plan on keeping it up on days I don't go to the gym and building up levels or doing the levels more than once to extend the time I'm working out. I know eventually I'll get my footing right and even if I don't...I could care less! But for right now...this girl can't dance LOL

I'm right there with you. I just kind of waive the controller frantically hoping it will give me a "perfect" because it hits it at just the right time. LMAO!! Yay for you for getting motivated!
