Can I just say how excited I am about this study I'm starting! www.crazylovebook.com
I came back from the states so ready for my PWOC bible studies and my friends. To be gathered together in one room talking about God and the many things He has done in our lives is so awesome. This semester we had 3 studies to choose from...
1. CREATEDtobehisHELPMEET
2. thetruthproject
3. CRAZYLOVE
At first was wasn't all excited with the choices. I had already done #2...which is pretty interesting. And #1 just wasn't jumping out at me as something I needed at this time. But I was craving a good study so I was considering #3. Then a friend of mine mentioned she had read it and it really got her to questioning her beliefs even more and perked up her interest a little I guess you could say. Mind you this wonderful woman is a great person and friend but the kicker for me was that she was a non-believer. This stirred so much emotion for me. To know that this beautiful woman, whom I've been praying for over the past year or so for a few reasons, had stopped to read this book and been intrigued by it made me want to know more about the book myself. Let me tell you I sat down to read my assigned portion...1/2 of chapter one...I couldn't stop! If it wasn't past 10 p.m. and I didn't have to get kiddos up in the early a.m. I would have finished that book right then and there. My highlighter was working over time from the beginning...and I truely mean the first page of the foreward written by Chris Tomlin! I read 5 chapters before I stopped myself! For me as a believer it wasn't the jaw dropping a-ha moments it was just the simplicity of the author's words and and magnitude of what was behind them. I found myself in tears...not from sorrow but from absolute awe of my holy Father. I did find myself in the pages I've read so far and that's one of the best and sometimes worst parts of a study. I haven't even seen the video portions that go with the chapters yet and I'm itching for each Wednesday to arrive so my group can talk over what we've read. So here it is TGIF....hurry up Wednesday!

That sounds fantastic...and might be just the thing I need for myself.
