So after the holidays I wanted to get back into a good routine of working out. Technically all my doc has asked me to do is walk everyday but I wanted to do more! I wasn't even keeping up with my walking. I saw myself getting back into my rut of no exercise. I wasn't going to let myself continue.
I told my hubby that I needed someone to hold me accountible and make me work hard to stay on it! I basically voluntold him that he was my new workout buddy. Find a way to meet me at the gym everyday even for just a little bit!
I totally scored with my man! He talked to his supervisor and was given some time to coincide with his lunch time to meet me. He may do his own squadron PT that same day but he's been faithful to meet me for the past two weeks and workout with me. He's been so great! I told him how much I appreciated him doing this for me. He's made it nice enough that I don't mind doing what he wants me to do and I actually enjoy it! He's not making it too tough that I want to look at him and tell him to screw it!
Today started week 3 of working out together. I feel good after our workout! Today he had be focusing on my arms with the weights and then a good 20 min. cardio of walk/job combos. I'm so blessed that he's taking this time with me and sticking with it to help me. I truely look forward to our workout time together.
