the written WORD

I hope I'm not taking on too much but I am so excited about the studies I'm getting into for the fall! One won't be too in depth now that I've already read the book and will be leading the class for it. The other two...well one is pretty light reading and the other is one of those hold on to your hat types of books!

First I'm leading the class for and this book has been amazing. I read half on the way to Cinque Terre last weekend...I have pics to eventually post don't worry...and every now and then I'd be highlighting and talking to myself! "oh that's so true", "I'm so guilty of this", "man that's good" and so on. Now I'm excited to dig into the workbook questions and see what is revealed to me the second time around. I just hope for a class of ladies that will share and really get into the discussions. So far it seems promising. This isn't an easy study for some...me included...it's hard to look at ourselves, see our faults, and then find our way out.....but we can! Thank God we can if we let Him lead and move forward to make the changes necessary! I'm so excited for this and I haven't been this excited in a long time!
The next study I'm doing isn't as hard...at least not yet! I'm taking this I just ordered the guys version for my hubby. I figured we can work at this together LOL Plus it's important for our marriage to study together and see what other blessings God has in store for our marriage! He's done so much for us over that last few years since we've let Him in totally and I would hate to the loose that momentum we have going. We owe our happy marriage all to God and there's no way I'm giving that happiness up! This book will be totally interesting and even embarrassing according to the lady leading the study. The class is packed full so it should be a great study where we can learn from one another!
The last study I'm doing is straight from the Word...thebookofRevelation Oh how I've always pushed away from getting into the last book of the Bible. I don't want to think about the end and what the rapture entails...it always scared me so. But as the times have proven the end is indeed coming and I need to be ready. The good news...I already know the ending (psst...spoiler...WE WIN)! The lady teaching this study has a heart for this book and all it says. She is an amazing teacher of the Word and I look forward to hearing all she has to say on this. She is going to go so deep into the book that we should almost get a college credit out of it LOL
As I said I hope I'm not taking on too much but I'm so excited about all of these and look forward to what I learn from each and can take with me to move forward in my life!
